By using OneLine, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

OneLine sends you a daily writing prompt and gives feedback on the sentence you submit in response. The daily prompt, writing, saving, and your streak are free. New accounts get 7 lifetime corrections at no cost; after that, corrections, audio, and vocabulary suggestions require a Pro subscription.

Accounts

Accounts start anonymous and device-based. You're responsible for whatever device or credentials you use to access your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam submissions, attempts to break the correction system, etc.).

Subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly or annually through your app store account and renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your app store subscription settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Annual plans may include a trial that converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.

Your content

You keep ownership of the sentences you write. You give us permission to process them (including sending them to third-party AI and audio providers) so we can return a correction and audio to you.

AI corrections

Corrections are generated automatically and may occasionally be wrong or miss nuance. Don't treat them as a substitute for a qualified teacher or professional translation.

Disclaimer & liability

OneLine is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
